Automating credit card expense management through transaction data integration using Moneytree's financial data platform, Moneytree LINK

This new feature significantly improves convenience for users and further reduces the effort involved in expense management.

Background to development and the direction of our solution

１．Many expense management systems support only a limited range of credit cards
Challenge: Many companies use expense management systems that integrate only with specific credit cards, creating additional work such as arranging new cards and distributing them to employees. This takes time and effort and complicates administration.

Solution: Jugaad Expense Management integrates with Moneytree's financial data platform, Moneytree LINK, and supports most credit cards. This allows companies to continue using their existing cards, significantly reducing additional administrative work.

２．Many companies are concerned about giving employees credit cards for expenses
Challenge: Credit cards automate the transfer of cash and help streamline expense processing. However, when companies adopt them, settling expenses together at month-end makes it difficult to check individual transactions, increasing the risk of misuse and errors.

Solution: With Jugaad Expense Management, employees submit an expense application for each transaction whenever they use a credit card. Requiring receipts also ensures transparency for each expense, minimizes the risk of misuse and enables real-time expense management.

3．Compliance with the invoice system is required
Challenge: Credit card statements often do not show consumption tax amounts, making it difficult to determine the correct tax when processing expenses. The new invoice system also requires qualified invoices, which conventional methods do not adequately support.

Solution: Jugaad Expense Management uses AI-OCR technology to automatically read credit card receipts. It accurately identifies the amount, consumption tax amount and rate, and the qualified invoice issuer's registration number, then automates data entry and journal entries. It also reliably supports the invoice system.
